Trauma
This is an experience that leave us feeling deeply unsafe and often helpless. It can be an isolated event or ongoing situation so troubling that you can experience flashbacks, have difficulty concentrating, isolation and confusion. Whatever your emotional or physical responses, it is important that you be aware and seek help.
Although feeling down is common, depression is a persistent sad mood not easily changed that begins to affect you completing daily activities. You may feel generally miserable or unhappy without really knowing why. If symptoms persist for long periods without treatment, this can cause your depression to intensify.
Anxious responses are normal to everyday stressors, especially in fast-paced cities. Although some anxiety is healthy for us, excessive worry and fear about everyday situations can impair our desires and our goals in life.
